Ethereal chanteuse Sarah Blasko announces a national theatre tour for late March and April.
Blasko is still playing shows on the back of her essential album 'What The Sea Wants, The Sea Will Have', which peaked at number 7 on the charts when it was release October last year. The album is in the top nine shortlist for the 2006 Australian Music Prize and her first two singles, '[explain]' and 'Always On This Line' both appeared in the recent Triple J Hottest 100Her sleeper success has surprised many. When on the album launch tour through Canberra, 800 fans showed up to the 200-capacity room she had booked. This new tour promises another side of Blasko, as she plays two sets each night with an eight-piece chamber ensemble and a rotating list of special guest musicians.
