Wolfmother has beaten out Tool, Nine Inch Nails and System Of A Down to win the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.
The band were nominated for their track 'Woman'. In other winners already announced, Red Hot Chili Peppers took the Best Rock Song prize for Dani California, The Flaming Lips' 'The Wizard Turns On...' won for Best Rock Instrumental Performance, whilst Slayer's 'Eyes Of The Insane' won for Best Metal Performance.Bob Dylan has already won two prizes, Best Solo Rock Performance for 'Someday Baby', and Best Contemporary Folk / Americana Album for 'Modern Times'.
