The Living End are back in business with a new video clip, a deluxe edition and a national tour for September.
Our favourite rockers have been quiet for a time but they’re making up for it with a barnstorming new album The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating.
They’re already released the title track as the first single, and have shot an eyeball-squeezing, semi-3D video.
While we’re at it, there’s info on the deluxe edition of the album for pre-order. It’ll come with a comic book, t-shirt, tote bag, vinyl, and CD. You can check it out here.
The Living End have also booked their first headlining tour for two years, in relatively small venues, and there’s little doubt that they’ll remain the most rousing live band in the country.
They’ll be joined by triple j Unearthed High winners Hunting Grounds and the raucous Melbourne punks King Cannons.
Mailing list members will get first shot at the tickets, so sign up at their dot com before Thursday June 30 and you’ll be able to buy tickets from 9am that day.
The general public will be able to snap up any tickets that might be left from 9am on Thursday 7 July from Ticketek (or Venuetix for the Adelaide date).
Note: they’re also playing Splendour In The Grass on July 30, the Cairns Timeout Festival on August 13, and The Concert in Alice Springs on October 7.
