A check of The Veronicas Facebook page shows 1,330,710 “likes” putting then over 300,000 higher than their statement.
AC/DC have most Facebook followers for an Australian act. They have 13,408,688 followers. ARIA counts AC/DC as an Aussie band and considering Malcolm Young lives in Sydney and Phil Rudd in New Zealand then so do we.
Keith Urban has 2,184,498 followers.
However, The Veronicas are ahead of Kylie Minogue who has 897,682 followers, The Temper Trap with 388,435 followers and INXS with 357,927 followers.
