Coldplay have announced that they’ll have a new single out in a matter of days.
The band posted on their website that new single ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall’ will be available to download this Friday 3 June, except in the UK where it will come out at midnight on Saturday 4 June.
They’re also going to stream it on their site coldplay.com on Friday and perform the song live during their appearance at Germany’s Rock Im Park Festival this Saturday.
Drummer Will Champion also posted the lyrics to the song, the rainbow spray-paint cover for the single and some new press shots on the site here.
'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' is the first single from their new album, which will also feature another track called 'Princess Of China' and is the first new music from the band since the one-off festive track 'Christmas Lights'.
Their fifth, yet-to-be-titled album is set to be released in October this year.
