Styx/Damn Yankees singer Tommy Shaw and Night Ranger/Damn Yankees bass player/vocalist Jack Blades have teamed for an acoustic tour in support of their new album 'Influence'.
The pair will perform songs from the new album as well as classics from Styx, Damn Yankees and Night Ranger but without a band.Apart from Shaw and Blades, just one other guitarist will join them on stage.
Shaw/Blades recorded their previous joint album 'Hallucination' in 1995.
Unlike the 1995 album written by Shaw, 'Influence' features songs from the 60s and 70s including the Mamas and the Papas' "California Dreamin'," Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth" and Steely Dan's "Dirty Work".
Shaw and Blades have sold more than 50 million albums between Styx, Damn Yankees and Night Ranger.
US dates are currently being put in place for March and April.
