Seether has the highest debut album in the USA this week with ‘Holding Onto Strings Better Left’ but the band did not sell enough to dethrone Adele.
According to hitsdailydouble.com the Seether album sold around 57,000 units to debut at no. 2, well short of Adele ‘21’ with 136,000 units moving into new homes in the past week.
Other top 10 debuts will be Michael Grimm ‘Michael Grimm’ and Il Volo’s ‘Il Volo’.
Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi failed to make the Top 10 with their collaboration ‘Rome’ selling around 20,000 units.
Other new releases on the chart this week are Parachute ‘Way It Was’, Ben Harper ‘Give Til Its Gone’, Book of Mormon cast recording, New Boyz ‘Too Cool To Care’ and Dispatch ‘EP’.
