Beyonce debuts her riotous post-apocalyptic clip for new single ‘Run The World (Girls)’.
The clip debuted on American Idol overnight and it demonstrates that Mrs Jay-Z is not screwing around.
It’s like Beyond Thunderdome for 2011, set in the desert with hyenas on chains, burning cars, riot police and water cannons, and an even fiercer than usual Beyonce giving the finger, propping up her boobs, snarling, and getting down in the sand.
With a militaristic tribal beat (borrowed from Major Lazer) and Beyonce’s chants bordering on yelling, it’s a scary package indeed.
Reactions have been mixed, with celeb tweeters seemingly stunned by its awesomeness and regular folk giving it the cocked eyebrow.
