The second season of Elvis Costello With…, featuring U2, Springsteen, Neko Case, Sheryl Crow and more, hits DVD.
Elvis Costello With… is roundly regarded as a gem in the music television genre, as the legendary songwriter conducts in-depth interviews with A-list stars and coaxes special performances out of them.
The second season was shot in 2009 at Harlem’s Apollo Theatre and Toronto’s Masonic Temple, and features U2’s Bono and The Edge, Bruce Springsteen, Neko Case, Sheryl Crow, Ron Sexsmith, Jesse Winchester, Nick Lowe, Richard Thompson, Allen Toussaint, Levon Helm, John Prine, Lyle Lovett, and Ray Lamontagne.
The series will now come out on a double-disc, containing all seven episodes, and an hour of bonus footage including a behind-the-scenes documentary, and exclusive bonus songs from Costello and his band The Imposters (as well as Bono and The Edge tackling Costello’s ‘Alison’).
Elvis Costello With… season two will come out on DVD and Blu-Ray on June 7 through MVD Entertainment Group.
