You can get the inside track on Europe’s campest entertainment event with the Eurovision Song Contest: Dusseldorf 2011 double album, featuring every song in competition this year.
Presented in alphabetical order of country (so there’s no hint of rigging), you’ll get Continental pop gems, from Albania to Ukraine.
It has all the hits, including ‘I Love Belarus’ by Belarusian Anastasiya Vinnikova, German entrant Lena’s ‘Taken By A Stranger’, transsexual Israeli and former Eurovision winner Dana International’s ‘Ding Dong’, Ukrainian Mika Newton’s ‘Angel’ and Latvian act Musiqq’s ‘Angel In Disguise’.
Get in quick, as SBS will be airing the semi-finals this Friday 13 May and Saturday 14 with the Grand Final on Sunday 15 May.
The Eurovision Song Contest: Dusseldorf 2011 double CD is out now and EMI will release a triple DVD of the show in mid-June.
