Albare will be performing two unique shows at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival next month.
His first show will be performed as The Albare Inspirational Quartet at 6:30pm and then at 8pm perform a second show with his full band, Travel Diary.
The Albare Inspiration Quartet will feature Albare on guitar, Evripides Evripedou on bass, Scott Griffiths on keyboards and Daniel Farugia on drums with special guest singer Haran from Israel.
The Travel Diary Band is Joe Chindamo on piano accordian, Rob Burke on saxophone, Eviripes Evripedou on bass and Daniel Farugia on drums with Albare on guitar.
Albare is a pioneer of acid jazz in Australia. In the early 90s he recorded two albums for Festival Records.
In 2008, after a 7-year absence, he returned to recording. He is also the co-founder of the Australian Jazz Bell Awards.
