A DJ playing Rihanna hits at an engagement was not good enough for Grand Prix poobah Bernie Ecclestone. He flew in the real thing.
Bernie’s youngest daughter Petra had her engagement party this week so squillionaire dad Bernie flew in her favourite singer Rihanna to sing a few tunes.
The party in London included Petra’s good friend Princess Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew, who is fifth in line for the British throne.
Rihanna was paid £250,000 ($AUD382,000) to perform six songs.
However, Rihanna was only the support act for the party. The real star was a £800,000 ($AUD1,224,000) Bugatti Veyron, known as the best car ever made.
