U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr is about to make his big screen debut as an actor.
Mullen will be seen in ‘Man On The Train’, a movie he also helped fund. Mullen plays a stranger who arrives in a small town with plans to rob a bank. The movie is a remake of a 2002 French film.
Mullen stars as the thief playing opposite Donald Sutherland as the professor.
While this is Mullen’s first role as an actor, he made his movie debut in U2’s ‘Rattle and Hum’ documentary from 1988.
‘The Man On The Train’ will premiere next month at the Cannes Film Festival.
