Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor has been charged with providing the score to ‘the Last Emporer’, a short film by Guy Bolongaro.
There isn’t a whole lot of information about the film, but if the screen shots on Bolongaro’s blog are anything to go by it appears to follow an eccentric old man who dresses in colourful cloaks.
The documentary is 20 minutes long and will get its first screening at the London Independent Film Festival in 2011.

If you can’t get to either of those screenings, Bolongaro said on his blog “I’ll get round to putting it on Vimeo or some such just as soon as I finish sorting my life out. Reckon that will be around 4.30 next tuesday just after Rawhide on TCM. Moove em out!”
