About Group, starring members of Hot Chip and Spiritualized, have talked about their new album.
The side project features Alexis Taylor from UK electronica artist Hot Chip and John Coxon from Brit space rockers Spiritualized.
About Group released their self-titled debut in 2009 and Taylor has revealed information about their second effort.
Taylor had penned the tunes over the last couple of years but deliberately kept the songs away from the other band members, including Charles Hayward from This Heat, and Pat Thomas, so that their contributions would be fresh.
It was recorded in one day at the legendary Abbey Road studios , with Coxon and other members improvised over the music that Taylor had written.
The fourteen-track album will be called Start And Complete and be released on April 18 through Domino Records.
