Members of U2 and Muse jumped up on stage at a small Brazilian nightclub last week and played songs by David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and Talking Heads.
The impromptu performance took place at Bar Secreto in Sao Paulo just hours after the two bands wrapped up with South American tour at the city’s Morumbi Stadium.
Fans whipped out their phones and filmed clips of Bono singing Talking Heads’ ‘Psycho Killer’, The Edge singing The Rolling Stones’ ‘Miss You’ and U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr singing the Irish folk song ‘The Wild Rover’ with Muse’s Dom Howard on drums.
U2 had reason to celebrate, since the South American leg of their tour was where their tour became the highest grossing tour in history.
