Police have raided the Sydney home of X-Factor winner Altiyan Childs and found drugs and guns, allegedly belonging to his manager.
Steve Gold, the manager of Childs, lives at the house in the Sydney suburb of Ramsgate with Childs and seven other people.
Childs was not implicated in the raid.
Gold, real name Steve Yankuloff, was arrested and faces court on eight weapons charges. Police seized two rifles, a Taser gun, knuckle dusters and a semi-automatic pellet gun in the raid, according to Sydney’s Daily Telegraph newspaper.
500 grams of cannabis and equipment used to manufacture large quantities of drugs were also confiscated.
Altiyan Childs was the winner of 2010 Australian edition of The X-Factor. His debut album reached number 3 on the Australian ARIA Chart.
