After the 2008 debacle, Timbaland has again cancelled, this time for the Supafest shows.
Paperchase have sent out a press release stating that Timbaland will be pulling out “due to circumstances beyond the promoters control”.
They write: “It’s with great regret that Paperchase Touring announces that Timbaland has cancelled his appearances in Australia for the upcoming Supafest Tour that starts tomorrow at ANZ Stadium in Sydney. Paperchase Touring has been delivering the best urban acts in the world to Australia for many years and this cancellation is due to circumstances beyond the promoter’s control.
“All other artists on the bill have landed in Australia and are looking forward to delivering an amazing show.”
The US producer and ersatz rap star delayed and then cancelled his 2008 ‘Shock Value’ Australian tour.
Supafest continues without him, featuring Nelly, Taio Cruz, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, The Game, T-Pain, Fat Joe, Ciara, Keri Hilson, and more of the biggest urban artists in the world.
