Smashing Pumpkins Reactivate For European Festivals

The resurrected Smashing Pumpkins will perform their first live shows since reforming in Germany in June.

The Smashing Pumpkins website has announced two shows, June 2nd headlining Rock Am Ring and June 3rd headlining Rock Im Park.

Tickets for the shows went on sales January 27th.

The line-up for Rock Am Ring will also include Linkin Park, Muse, Billy Talent, Evanescence, Korn, Slayer, Dave Matthews Band, Wolfmother, Arctic Monkeys, My Chemical Romance, Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks and Stone Sour.

Frontman Billy Corgan announced recently that the new Pumpkins album is in the final stages. A release date is yet to be set.
