The first single, ‘Make Some Noise’, from the new Beastie Boys album leaks, so they put it up on their site.
A snippet of the track was available on Amazon recently, and now the full song has slipped out online.
So, being relatively magnanimous about it, the Beastie Boys popped the proper version of ‘Make Some Noise’ up on their own site.
Mike D wrote on their blog, “This wasn’t really part of the plan, but since this track is out there we wanted to let you hear it here first, or maybe second. Enjoy”
It’s the first song on the forthcoming Hot Sauce Committee Part Two (being released before Part One), a 16-track album with guest spots from Nas and Santigold.
They’ve also put up what looks like the artwork on their site – a fat pixel abstract that looks like a rainbow QR code.
