Lazy Susan will perform their 2001 debut album ‘Long Lost’ in its entirety in Sydney on April 24.
The indie ‘Long Lost’ album grabbed airplay on Triple J in Sydney and Triple R in Melbourne when it was released and is described as an “accidental accident” and a “bona fide Australian pop classic”.
“We made Long Lost with a great deal of naïveté and with no consideration for who might like it or if anyone was ever going to buy it,” says lead singer and chief songwriter on the record, Paul Andrews.
“But before long radio was playing it and it seemed to resonate with people. Triple J’s support in particular made a tremendous difference. If they hadn’t picked it up Long Lost would have disappeared into the ether.”
In 2010, Lazy Susan released their third album ‘Places That Made Us’.
The ‘Long Lost’ show will happen at The Annandale Hotel in Sydney on April 24.
