Depeche Mode will release an album of remixes from artists like M83, Trentemoller, UNKLE, Royksopp and Eric Prydz.
The triple album, called Remixes 2: 81-11, features remixes of music from their 1981 debut Speak And Spell all the way up to the present day.
It’s a sequel to their 2004 Remixes album, which sold over a million copies.
Remixers include some of the biggest names in the business: Dan The Automator, Jacques Lu Cont, M83, Peter Bjorn And John, Miike Snow, Bushwacka, Trentemoller, UNKLE, Efdemin, Royksopp, Tigerskin, Eric Prydz and more.
It will also include remixes from former band members Vince Clarke and Alan Wilder, who have never remixed for Depeche Mode before.
It’ll be available in two formats: a single disc of the best and a triple-disc version with 37 tracks. There will also be vinyl and downloadable versions.
Remixes 2: 81-11 will be available via Mute on June 3.
