Multi-instrumentalist Nitin Sawhney has signed on the put together the score for 'The Fifth Beatle', the story of Brian Epstein.
British based Sawhney has worked with James Taylor, Talvin Singh and Paul McCartney. His last album 'Philtre' was released in 2005. He has since been working on film and video game soundtracks.The concept and screenplay for 'The Fifth Beatle' is from Vivek Tiwary, New York based entrepreneur who produced the Broadway show 'A Raisin' In The Sun' starring P. Diddy.
He is also the founder of music industry site Starpolish.com.
Tiwary was drawn to the story about the gay, Jewish Beatle manager who had an incredible success before his untimely death at the age of 32.
'The Fifth Beatle' is planned to premiere in Liverpool in 2008.
