Globe-trotting West Aussie troubadour Carus Thompson announces his eighth album and a national tour.
Thompson is a true independent success, having traversed Europe for the last couple of year with stars like Dave Matthews, Damien Rice, Jack Johnson, John Butler and The Waifs.
After selling over 30,000 albums all on his own, he now prepares his eighth album Caravan and a returning Aussie tour.
Caravan was recorded in the UK, Germany and Australia and tells the tales he’s picked up which crossing continents over the years (even getting UK folk star Seth Lakeman to guest).
The album will be out on April 1, and he’ll be doing what he does best – hitting the road – in support of it.
He’ll be supported by Melbourne’s Yanto Shortis, who will also back him up on stage alongside Waifs bassist Ben Franz.
Tickets for the shows are available from the venues.
