G-funk icon Nate Dogg will be laid to rest this Saturday and a wake will be hosted by DJ Quik.
‘Regulate’ star and the smooth voice of g-funk, Nate Dogg, passed away last week from indeterminate causes.
MTV reports that he will be buried this Saturday, with a ceremony being held beforehand at Long Beach Airport, which will apparently be open to fans hoping to pay tribute.
Word is that there will also be a memorial benefit for his family at the Los Angeles Convention Centre hosted by DJ Quik, who produced some of Nate Dogg’s music.
Nate Dogg was roundly remembered at the recent South By South West Music Industry conference in Austin, Texas, with stars Warren G, Snoop Dogg, P Diddy and Wiz Khalifa.
