70s rock pioneers Eagles have made it to Mainland China for the very first time playing shows in Shanghai and Beijing.
The band are celebrating their 40th year in 2011 and as part of the milestone they’re doing a twelve-city tour of Asia, of which China is a part.
“The people, here, have been very warm and welcoming,” Eagles’ co-founder Don Henley said in a statement. “They all sing along with ‘Hotel California’ and ‘Desperado.’ It’s amazing. We’re looking forward to coming back again in the future.”
The band play tonight in Hong Kong, after that they take a few months off before heading on an eleven date European tour. Check them out at:
