Irish icons The Pogues have announced their ‘farewell’ show in New York on St. Pat’s Day.
WENN reports that the heroes of Irish folk The Pogues will play a farewell show in New York City tomorrow, March 17, St. Patrick’s Day.
The sold out show, the last of a three-night residency at Terminal 5, is titled ‘A Parting Glass With The Pogues’, featuring upcoming colonial rockers Titus Andronicus as support.
Their performances in New York for St. Patrick's Day have almost become a legend, as they've played the city almost every time the holiday rolls around since they reformed in 2001.
But the band insists that this won’t be their last ever live performance.
According to WENN, they are almost certain to pop up again "festivals here and there" in the future.
