Airbourne gave Sydney a taste of what to expect from their forthcoming album when they performed at the announcement of the Jack Awards last night at the Gaelic Club.

800 guests attended the event with Airbourne in full swing with their pyrotechnic show. They will release their debut album through EMI worldwide in April.

Guests at last nights event included Hamish Rosser from The Vines, Pat Davern from Grinspoon, Paul Keenan from Eskimo Joe and his royal highness, the legendary Michael Gudinski.

Airbourne were nominated for Best Live Band, up against Beasts of Bourbon, Dallas Crane, Hilltop Hoods, Wolfmother, You Am I.
