Chicago singer songwriter Joe Pug is back in Australia this week and will perform at the Port Fairy Fold Festival this weekend.
Pug was last in Australia in November, 2010. He released his debut album ‘Messenger’ in February 2010.
Joe Pug was one of the outspoken performers who objected to the high service fees attached to tickets so he started to sell his own tickets directly from his website with no fees at all.
The music performer and entrepreneur has also managed his own mail-order service in the USA and sold over 15,000 fans directly to fans in more than a dozen countries that way.
The Port Fairy Fold Festival is on from Friday March 11 until Sunday March 13 this weekend.
Other performers include Dan Kelly’s Dream Band, Bob Evans, David Bridie, Kasey Chambers and The Dingoes.
