William Shatner (Star Trek’s Captain Kirk) and Scott Bakula (Star Trek Enterprise’s Captain Jonathan Archer) are heading to where no Star Trek commanders have never gone before … Sydney and Melbourne.

Shatner and Bakula will appear at the Star Trek 2011: Command and Conquer Australian conventions but there could be trouble. Klingons Martok (JG Hertzler) and Gowron (Robert O’Reilly) will be here as well.

Shatner’s Aussie visit will also include his show ‘Kirk, Crane and Beyond’ on Tuesday, April 5 at the State Theatre in Sydney and Sunday, April 10 at The Plenary, Melbourne Convention Centre.

Shantner currently stars in the sitcom ‘Shit Mt Dad Says’. Bakula is in ‘Men Of A Certain Age’ with Ray Romano and Andre Braugher.

William Shatner is also working on a metal album. He has already recorded his version of the Black Sabbath classic ‘Iron Man’ with Zakk Wylde. Other guests on the album include Peter Frampton, Mike Inez (Ozzy Osbourne), Steve Howe (Yes), Ian Paice (Deep Purple) and Brian May (Queen).
