The Danger Mouse/ Shins collaboration pitches a new digital EP.
Broken Bells, made up of uber-producer Danger Mouse of Gnarls Barkley fame and The Shins frontman James Mercer, released their debut album in March last year.
Even though many thought it would be a one-off, they’re putting out a new EP called ‘Meyrin Fields’ on March 29.
Considering there are only four songs, and only two previously unreleased, it might mean that they’re merely clearing the decks.
The two unreleased tracks are called ‘Windows’ and ‘Heartless Empire’.
‘An Easy Life’ was a bonus track on their self-titled album and the title track ‘Meyrin Fields’ was originally released as a b-side to their ‘A Ghost Inside’ single.
