A lock of Justin Bieber’s hair has sold for $40,668 at auction.
Ellen Degeneres conducted the Bieber auction to raise money for an animal charity.
13 hours ago, after one week the lock of hair had 65 bids and reached $14,100 but in the finally hours, a rush of 33 more bids came in pushing the price to $US40,668.
The top bidder will come onto the Ellen Degeneres show to meet Justin Bieber and be presented with the lock of hair, house in a plexiglass box, signed by Justin Bieber and including a letter of authenticity from Ellen.
The Gentle Barn Foundation, a charity for the care of rescued animals will receive every dollar of the $40,688.
