Sean Lennon will debut his new band The Ghost Of A Sabre Tooth Tiger at SXSW this month and later in the evening his mother Yoko Ono will make her debut SXSW performance.
This will be part of the showcase for Sean’s label Chimera Music, run from the kitchen of his New York apartment with his girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl and former Cibo Matto mate Yuko Honda. The label has released seven albums since 2009.
The Ghost of a Sabre Tooth Tiger is Sean with Charlotte. In fact the label name Chimera is from a creature made from the parts of two different animals.
The Chimera Showcase will happen at Elysium at 705 Red River St on Saturday, March 19.
