Matt Bellamy of Muse has spoken about their future recording plans.
The British arena rock superstars have confirmed that they’ll be heading into the studio this year to record their sixth album.
Bellamy spoke to BBC 6Music, confirming that they’re at the start of what virtually amounts to a year off, doing a tour here and there.
But he said, “We probably will start making an album towards the end of the year.”
As for a release date, he pondered, “I'd like 2012 if possible, but 2013 definitely.”
Muse very recently won the Best Rock Album Grammy for 2009’s The Resistance and two NME Awards (one specifically for Bellamy’s personal sexiness).
Their most pressing plans for the immediate future consist of supporting U2 during six shows in Argentina and Brazil in last March and early April.
