Tallarook’s coolest music festival Boogie has announced a new bunch of acts on it’s already impressive 2011 lineup.
The additions are Rogers, Kent, Hopkinson, Lane & Friends (you can work out who they usually are!) with a special one off show of “superior hits, misses and glorious memories from the golden ages of rock and roll from the 50s through to now,” The Felice Brothers - one of whom which cancelled an Australian tour last year due to a sudden need for heart surgery - Melbourne’s only “horror country” band Graveyard Train, Machete Moon (featuring Myles Heskett formerly of Wolfmother and Cec Condon of The Mess Hall), Even, Caitlin Rose, Dick Diver, Gossling and the incredible Little John.
They join the already announced Tony Joe White, Dan Kelly’s Dream Band, Boomgates, Oh Mercy, Barbarion, Matt Sonic and The High Times, The Laurels, Smoke Machine, Money For Rope, The Level Spirits, Beaches, Chris Altmann’s Que Paso Revue, Immigrant Union and Van Walker’s Cracked Country Lips.
Boogie takes place over the Easter weekend (that’s April 22 - 24 for you non-believers) at Bruzzy’s Farm in Tallarook, Victoria.
Tickets are on sale at www.boogie.net.au, both Polyester Record Stores and Greville Records in Prahran.
