Rod Stewart says he and Stevie Nicks will share the stage for duets on their forthcoming stadium tour.
Stewart told Rolling Stone that he and Nicks will sing together for a section of the show, which is billed as a three-hour extravaganza.
He said he posited trying out Nicks’ duet with Don Henley, ‘Leather and Lace’ and she suggested his tunes ‘The First Cut Is the Deepest’ and ‘Reason to Believe’.
The now-19 show jaunt, dubbed ‘The Heart And Soul Tour’, stretches from Florida to Montreal to Los Angeles and points in between.
It’ll kick off in Ft Lauderdale on March 20 and finish up in Seattle on April 23.
Nicks is plugging her forthcoming solo album In Your Dreams and Stewart continues to flog his American Songbook series, the most recent installation being last year’s Fly Me to the Moon...The Great American Songbook Volume V.
