Wendy Dio has signed Bebe Buell to her Niji Management company.
Bebe is the mother of Liv Tyler after a brief fling with Aeromith singer Steven Tyler. Cameron Crowe based the character Penny Lane, played by Kate Hudson, on Bebe for his movie ‘Almost Famous.
In 1974, Bebe was a Playboy Playmate of the Month. She published her autobiography ‘Rebel Heart” An American Rock and Roll Journey’ in 2001.
Wendy was the manager of her late husband Ronnie James Dio.
“I went to New York City to see Bebe Buell perform live and I knew after two songs that I had to manage her,” Wendy in a statement.
"I have a genuine connection with Wendy," says Bebe Buell. "She gets it - my music and me! Her coming into my life felt like divine intervention."
Bebe Buell will release her album soon and then embark on a European tour.
