"Go On Out, Get Back Home" is the first glimpse of what Tim Rogers has to offer on his new album Rogers Sings Rogerstein out on August 24th through FOUR|FOUR.
The album was written in collaboration with Ohio native Shel Rogerstein, whom Rogers met on a train journey in Southern France. The pair bonded over such things as "Tango, film, cheese, rock'n'roll, baseball and family" and thus was born a creative partnership that see's the light of day very soon.
"Go On Out, Get Back Home" showcases Roger's deity blessed gift for lyrical wit and a humbleness that comes from being your average good bloke with foibles. Chugging, rhythmic accoustic gee- tars build up to a pineapple flavoured country solo that sounds good enough to eat.
