The music of Carole King will be featured on this week’s episode of ‘Glee’ in the USA.
The episode ‘Blame It On The Alcohol’ is about the students of McKinley High learning about the dangers of underage drinking.
The show will also acknowledge Carole King’s significance to music history as a songwriter.
The legendary Carole King is one of the greatest songwriters of all-time. Her list of classics include ‘The Loco-Motion’, ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’, ‘Its Too Late’, ‘It Might As Well Rain Until September’, ‘I Feel The Earth Move’ and ‘Jazzman’.
Carole King ‘Tapestry’ was the biggest selling album of all-time before ‘Thriller’ and remained at number one of the American chart for 15 weeks when it was released.
Carole’s songs have been recorded by The Beatles, Linda Ronstadt, Marvin Gaye, James Taylor, Bryan Ferry Roberta Flack, The Monkees and Tom Petty.
She even wrote the theme song for the 60s TV show ‘I Dream Of Jeannie’.
Glee airs on Tuesday nights in the USA. Except to see the episode sometime for the end of 2018 on Australian television.
