Just in time for Tamworth, the Country Music Awards Of Australia announce their final list of performers and their finalist double album.
The "Golden Guitars" is country music's glittering night of nights and already announced to perform are nominees Lee Kernaghan, Beccy Cole, Melinda Schneider, Anne Kirkpatrick, Felicity Urquhart and Adam Brand. Added to the massive line-up are The McClymonts, Graham Rodger, Kevin Bennett, Bill Chambers, young locals The Baileys as well as instrumentalists Stuie French, Travis Collins, Davidson Brothers and Mike Kerin.The ceremony will be held on January 27 at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre and will be broadcast on Southern Cross on Saturday February 3 from 6:30pm and on Network Ten on Sunday February 4 from noon.
Accompanying the show is a double CD dubbed 'The Winners 2007', which features 32 tracks and has music from all the finalists in the "Golden Guitars". It was released on January 13 through EMI so fans can get a taste of the finest country music from the last twelve months before they get to see the artists perform them live at the "Golden Guitars"ceremony.
