Coldplay's Chris Martin filled in for Zane Lowe on the BBC on Thursday January 17th, and gave listeners a diverse playlist.
Martin opened his two hour show with Jay-Z's 'Kingdom Come'. It was an interesting choice considering that he was a guest on Jay-Z's album, but stayed away from playing his featured track 'Beach Chair'Chris played new music via Bloc Party and Hot Chip and through in a few classics such as Bowie's 'Ashes To Ashes' and Talking Heads 'Once In A Lifetime'.
One of the more interesting 'oldies' to make the Martin playlist was the Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue duet 'Where The Wild Roses Go'.
