"Do you mock us!?" Japan's 50 Kaitens screamed at the crowd during their Australian tour last year.
This unique brand of garage rock is guaranteed to go down a treat, as the band - dressed as a R&B trio from the 50s - pummel their music down a stunned audiences throats. The band, who's name means 50rpm (i.e. faster than a record), sing many of their songs in Japanese and they can be quite difficult to find outside of Japan.
Their debut album 'No Gya' was recorded in San Francisco using entirely vintage microphones and equipment.
