Eminem became an ambassador for Detroit in a new ad that debuted at the Super Bowl today.
Eminem featured in the advertisement for Chrysler but instead of flogging a new car, the superstar rapper endorsed the Motor City itself.
Eminem grew up and still lives in Detroit. The city was rocked by the Global Financial Crisis and the collapse of the once powerful American car industry. Eminem appeared to give the city a boost.
“This is the Motor City and this is what we do,” is the rapper’s only line in the 2 minute commercial set to his hit song ‘Lose Yourself’.
He also starred in the Super Bowl Lipton commercial.
