The man who defined ultra-smooth sax, Kenny G, is on board for Audi’s campaign leading up to the 45th Superbowl to redefine luxury.
G plays the role of the “riot suppressor” at the Luxury Prison.
“I’m in charge of playing some of the softer songs from my repertoire to calm down some of the inmates when they get out of hand,” he says. “Oh yeah, this place can get tough, if one of the prisoners is upset because they didn’t get enough caviar that day, they can get pretty unruly.”
G’s part in the ad teaser is part two, with part one consisting of a number of older inmates trying to stop the younger ones from turning to their life of luxury.
The conclusion to the bizarre introductions will air during Superbowl XLV, where a 30 second ad can cost up to three million dollars, or the cost of around 100 Audi TTs.
