Jazzy chart-toppers The Cat Empire celebrate their tenth birthday with a unique tour.
Truly a ground-up success story, a decade ago The Cat Empire were selling out huge venues without airplay or even an album.
Ten years, over 800 shows, 100 songs and five albums later, the band have established themselves as an Australian musical treasure.
They’re celebrating their tenth anniversary with a broad selection of live spots, from the intimate jazz clubs where they began to the huge theatres they graduated to.
It’s a really clever list of venues in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney – punters are likely to be able to catch The Cat Empire playing at the first place they saw them in.
Tickets go on sale on Monday 14 February from MoshTix, Ticketek, VenueTix and the venues, with mailing list members getting a chance to buy earlier.
