Indie sensations Fleet Foxes announce the release of their eagerly-awaited second album with a streaming single.
The new album (previously mooted as Deepwater Horizon) is called Helplessness Blues and was produced by Phil Ek (who worked with The Shins, Les Savy Fav and Band Of Horses).
Their self-titled debut was the buzz album of 2008, lavishly praised by all the indie outlets, was on the tips of hipsters’ tongues and appeared on a bunch of Best Of The Year lists.
As an introduction, Fleet Foxes are streaming the first single and title track of Helplessness Blues here.
The album will be released on Sub Pop Records on April 29.
