Cake Goes Stale After A Week

Cake fans deserted the cake shop this week with the Californian band seeing their number one album drop completely out of the Top 20 this week.

Last week, Cake ‘Showroom of Compassion’ debuted atop the American album chart albeit with the worst selling number one debut of all-time.

This week, ‘Showroom of Compassion’ sold around 23,000 units across America and will drop to around no. 23 according to hitsdailydouble.com.

‘Showroom of Compassion’ is the sixth studio album for Cake and the band’s first release since ‘Pressure Chief’ in 2004.
