A Sydney resident takes a Zoe Badwi video shoot literally by firing off a slingshot.
AAP report that the aspiring pop starlet was targeted while filming her new video in a street in the wealthy Sydney suburb of Potts Point.
A slingshot was fired from a window overlooking the set, just missing a crew member. A resident then tipped a bucket of water over the director and some equipment.
Badwi, who has a debut album on the way, claims they were using a low level backing track so as not to disturb residents, and that locals were aware of the production.
The song Badwi was filming the video for is a new single called ‘Accidents Happen’, her third after the Top 10 dance hit ‘Freefallin’ and ‘Release Me’.
Take your pick as to which single is most apt for the incident.
No charges have been laid.
