Apparently Sleigh Bells, Diplo and Beyonce are joining forces on a track.
Rolling Stone reports that Diplo has posted on his Mad Decent blog that he’s remixed a track by Brooklyn noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells.
It got weirder, though, when he claims that he was working on a track with Beyonce and Sleigh Bells after he played her “team” their album in his New York studio.
Diplo sounded skeptical that it would actually come to fruition, as did Sleigh Bells when they tweeted this: “yeah damn beyonce on it was intense track may not get finished (?) but we finished the rum off at least”.
It’s not as unlikely a collaboration as you might think. Sleigh Bells are on M.I.A.’s record label N.E.E.T and M.I.A. collaborated with Beyonce’s hubby Jay-Z on ‘Swagga Like Us’ and the remix of her track ‘XXXO’.
Still, we won’t exactly be holding our breath.
