Hipster buzz band of 2010 Sleigh Bells announce two sideshows for summer.
We’ve been flogging Sleigh Bells’ monumental debut album Treats ever since it snuck out this year.
Derek Miller’s face-melting riffs and overdriven beats abutting Alexis Krauss’ sweet melodies and cheerleader chants resulted in the most refreshing sound of 2010.
Now, we’re all a-flutter to announce that the duo are going to bring their notoriously short and brutal sets to Melbourne and Sydney, in addition to their place on Falls and Southbound festivals.
Joining them on stage will be Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio doing a DJ set, Sydney electro kids Seekae, and the goodtime DJs from Purple Sneakers.
Tickets go on sale for Frontier members on Tuesday October 12 and Wednesday October 13 and to the general public on Friday October 15.
